I've purchased several Honda engines from Equipatron as well as many small engine parts the past few years. I called about a previous engine purchase to ask a few questions and an actual person answered the phone and was very helpful with answering my questions. This purchase was no different, the engine shipped quickly and will fit my needs perfectly.
I purchased the $308.90 Engine to replace my blown motor on my 22ton log splitter. It only took me 1.5 hrs. From start to finish to swap it out. Everything lined up perfectly like a Champ.
The engine fired up on the very First pull. Since then 4 tanks later purrs like a kitten.

I couldn't be happier with my experience! After purchasing receiving a damaged one from another, I was completely fed up. I tried having my old engine fixed, only to be told it had even more damage than expected. My business was at a complete standstill, and I desperately needed a replacement.
I stumbled upon Equipatron, but I was incredibly leary about making another purchase. To make matters worse, the model numbers on my old unit didn't match anything online—until AI finally helped me find a match. I reached out to Equipatron with questions, and their team reassured me that they had the correct replacement. I decided to take the leap. The estimated delivery was 7 days out, but to my surprise, it arrived early!
The packaging was amazing—unlike my last purchase from a different supplier where the shaft was literally sticking out of the box and arrived damaged. However, when I unboxed it, I noticed the gear reduction was in the wrong position. I thought to myself, "This is ridiculous, I should have just bought a brand-new machine." I tried to make it work on my own but had no luck.
I wrote back to customer service, and the representative explained that it was indeed the correct engine, but the gear reduction simply needed to be rotated. I was nervous about modifying a brand-new unit, but they sent over a video that explained exactly how to reset the gear in simple terms. It worked perfectly!
As a small mishap the choke lever arrived broken—I'm not sure if it happened during shipping or if I did it—but since I had replaced the carburetor on my old unit just a few weeks prior, I was able to swap them out easily. Another win!

Ordered a GX240 engine, received engine poorly packaged and during further review of engine found out engine has had fuel and oil in it and has been started before. Contacted customer support with pictures to show what I found and they have been no help at all. Said they "open engine boxes and retape to make sure they can be shipped. They have taken no accountability in any thing.
Hi Brent - I'm sorry to hear your engine arrived in a state that may have looked different than past deliveries. As we've communicated through email, all engines are briefly fired / tested at the manufacturing facility to greatly reduce the chance any defects from entering the market. This often results in some residual oil in the box. Additionally, once we receive the engine from the factory, we open the box and foam pack the engine to avoid/reduce the possibility of shipping damage. The new condition of your engine has been verified via the serial number. We understand your concern on the appearance of your engine but can assure you; we do not sell or ship used engines.

Not a slam dunk on my yard machine log splitter. Drive shaft needed adjustment, cut to length and keyway extended. Otherwise started on first pull and runs like new.
I ordered an engine at 3 PM on Thursday and had in Monday AM. I Will use them for my future engine purchases.
